I am writing songs for my future solo release. It will be a lengthy process but one that needs to be. I want to go through many phases of demo to achieve each song and eventually a collection of songs. EP, Album...etc...I have been writing very simple to start. Acoustic or electric guitar and the voice. Once I feel I have a good bulk of tunes I plan on adding minimal drum ideas for reference...bass...additional guitars...keys...and a backup vocalist...might do most of the backups myself...or have a female guest vocalist on a few songs...we shall see...but this is the plan...it will not be anytime soon...I will log my writing process and share some tunes here and there in the demo phase...maybe some in studio videos, pics...etc..for now...time to write...
