Mindlikewater...

Mindlikewater has been a band for 10 years now. About 4 and a half years of hiatus made us all realize a lot of things. How much fun Mindlikewater really is. We got very serious at one point and it became not fun. Serious about the music and it's quality is good. It's the business end of things that is not conducive to being creative. Right now we have a few new songs in rough states recorded down. I am trying to get the voice done on those tunes. No rush really. We have started visiting old material we have not played in a long time. Some we have never played since writing and recording them. Some of which was recorded by a member or two as an album track. One very cool song off Curving Toward the Sun...is going to be redone in the studio as a band. This song was written by myself and I collaborated with Joey Butera on it. The band gives it new life and parts and it seems we are all into it now. Cannot wait to record the 2009 version of one of my favorite Mindlikewater songs. Anyhow. All is well. We are putting together old songs for live. Having fun doing it. Planning on playing around the holidays sometime. Hopefully for an EP release.
