A Musical Sunday...

In a little over an hour I play with my new project with friends, Matt Short, James Dickens, and Ryan Copt. I hope we decide on a name soon. A few in the works. We have 2 songs of music hashed out. 2 or 3 others in writing phase. I think an EP and some chosen covers will be come our live show. I am looking forward to playing live with it. Not sure how long this band will last but it has been fun and different so far. So we shall see. After we jam with that I am thinking Ryan and I will take a break for dinner and chill for a bit before Mindlikewater rehearsal at 8pm. I think we are straight up jamming and starting to put together a live show. Not sure on a date yet. December seems likely. Possibly November? We should have fun looking at old tunes today. Figuring out our own music. Ha ha. We are thinking about details for this "fan chosen set list" gig. We had a good 20 or so songs suggested. I am thinking we will only play 10 or 12 so...the process of elimination should be interesting. A few new songs. A few obscure old ones. A few standards. I am thinking it will be less of the stuff we always play. Maybe 2 songs. Anyhow...time to get moving...A Musical Sunday ahead...
