as I am gearing up to go attempt a morning vocal session for some Mindlikewater stuff...I am thinking of old times...old friends...when I moved to FL many years ago now...I was introduced to a highly influential band on the local scene here named, The Wolfdaddys...the band and their friends embraced me and I felt very warm and welcome...it is there that I met many musicians and friends in South Florida that I formed bands with..etc...Brian Patterson was a part of all this and he has recently passed on...a hugely talented soul has left us...to undoubtedly touch others with his beautiful music and soul...I have seen this guy do amazing things on a guitar...banjo...and overall...just be a very warm and kind person...in the last 6 or 7 years I have not really kept in touch with Brian...I would hear about him from time to time...this last bit of news that carried through the old local scene was shattering to so many...I guess the point is...there is always something to be learned...love your family and friends...it is a gift that we have a chance here on earth...forever how long it might be...it is a gift...Brian was a gift that touched many people...R.I.P Brian Patterson.
