Music Project Stuff...

Mindlikewater is pretty much done tracking our EP. I believe it will be a short run. A couple hundred then straight digital. There are a few old songs we never properly released on there...and 3 brand new songs that have never been played live. I am excited for this but more excited for what will follow. A focused full length. The EP has always been a format Mindlikewater has chosen to sharpen our teeth for a more focused effort. I think usually each EP we have done spawns a track or two that people absolutely love. I think this effort will be no different in that regard. I do think there are some very different sounds on this EP though. Some light...Some dark...I think there is something for everyone on this. Demo after demo. One song is basically done being tracked. I have at least 3 more demos that have made the cut and will go to tape so far. I plan on taking my time for a full length with this. I plan on having a few guest appearances in the vocal department. Very exciting. News will come as things happen. I am loving the sounds so far! The Air Apparent is a side thing with RYan and I...Matt Short form D_comp and James Dickens. He has been the touring drummer for the NY band, OURS. It has been fun. We have 2 more songs to track and we are done with the music for that. This is a fun thing and may take some time to complete with all the other things on the table. EP is on the way though and a few shows will follow I am sure. From 2004 to the beginning of 2009...Ryan and I spent most of our time in the studio and playing live with the project, D_composure. Most of 2009 has been spent on the other projects talked about here. We did release one song, "If There's a Heart in There" on our myspace many months ago. Many people downloaded the track for free and it is still available for free download. Ryan and I have discussed a new focus and will continue D_comp sometime in the new year. We miss making noise.
