So I have been busy working on music related things with the Avalon/Bongiovi team. Film score type writing. Teaching some guitar lessons and prioritizing my original music projects. I have a bunch of songs I have released on the http://josephbeaty.com site for free. I plan on compiling the songs I have finished or rough into one release and putting the past behind me for solo work. I am in a new place mentally and feeling like Mindlikewater and D_composure need focus. Mindlikewater will be playing more live and writing all the while. D_composure has some potential with movie and tv stuff. A new single has dropped via http://dpsplugin.com A song written for the iHome Ip1 radio commercial called, "A Touch From You." I plan to work on new D_composure material in an effort to back up the push for this. I also plan on launching a new site at http://dcomposure.com very soon. Something very simple with a focus on getting music to people in a convenient way. I do plan on releasing side projects, The Air Apparent and Cloudwork tracks as they happen. They are fun side things. So with all this in perspective now...The major focus in my life is Health. Health for me. Health for the future family I am sure to have. I want to be around and healthy for a long time... and I am on a crazy watch of portions and food choices. I have lost 10 pounds and I plan on losing 3-5 more before I begin some real exercise. I have been diagnosed with Asthma and have an inhaler now that helps so much. I am staying away from drinking for a while. Not even a glass of wine. Just to cleanse myself. Eating fruit for snacks...tons of veggies for dinner. I am feeling much better overall. Music is starting to find focus again after a year of disarray. Health is getting back in check. A great start so far. These are decisions that effect the people around me in addition to myself and it feels good to be making them willingly. Stay tuned for music news and healthy ramblings.
