Katharine Blake collaboration

So some time ago I was blogging quite often about my solo material...I have many demos in place...A lot of music scattered without lyrics...and lyrics without music...well one of the first real demos to see the light of day was a song called, "The Heart Drums On". Sort of about the bitter and sweet aspects of life...also inspired by my hard working Scotch/Irish ancestors that I have been researching...They certainly saw hard times...and good times as well...anyhow...I felt the song needed something beyond me...another voice...I had come into contact with vocalist, Kathrine Blake from London. Growing up I loved her project, Miranda Sex Garden. She since has moved on to the Mediaeval Baebes and a quite amazing recent solo effort, Midnight Flowers. Among various other things...She sang on this song and it sounds quite amazing...cannot wait to get a mix going on it. I am quite fortunate to have her singing on this and it certainly paves the way for my first solo record to be something special. I plan on having a few other special guests and friends on the record. Time to get song #2 cracking...stay tuned...
